The route, clearly

From Beach Breeze SPI to the sand

Beach Breeze SPI is not beachfront and does not have private beach access. Guests normally walk approximately 800 feet from the sand via Aquarius Beach Access #18. The route crosses Gulf Boulevard and continues over a short public walkover to the beach.

For a smoother start, make the Gulf Boulevard crossing as a group, keep an eye on children near traffic and water, and choose a meeting point once you reach the beach.

Check beach and weather conditions before you go

We do not monitor beach or water conditions in real time. Before entering the water, check the National Weather Service resources below and the flags posted at your access. The National Weather Service updates local rip-current information daily and may update it as conditions change. A lower risk level does not remove the need to stay alert near the water.

The beach can still be a lovely place for a walk, sandcastles, or sunset when swimming is not the plan. Let the live forecast, flags, and the needs of your group guide the day.

City resources

Use the City map and follow the beach rules

The City’s map is the best place to compare public access points and plan your approach on the day of your visit. It is more useful than a static list because conditions and public facilities can change.

A few City rules are especially helpful to know before you go:

  • Motor vehicles and electric bicycles are not allowed on City beaches.
  • Glass, littering, overnight camping, and commercial activity or solicitation are prohibited.
  • Dogs must be leashed, and their waste must be cleaned up.

Read the current City beach rules and regulations before your beach day. Local rules, signage, and enforcement can change.

Mobility planning

Beach features and property access are different questions

Some beach access points may have features that can help with mobility planning, but those features and current conditions vary. For details about access mats or walkovers, accessible parking, beach-accessibility chairs, and transit options, review the City’s current information and contact the City directly with questions about your specific needs.

Beach Breeze SPI requires stairs to reach the front door and is not represented as step-free or wheelchair accessible. The Aquarius #18 route also includes a Gulf Boulevard crossing and a public walkover. These are separate considerations from any City features.
